Knitted Owl Pattern, Tutorial

Today I have been working on a simple little pattern for an owl. I have knitted him in organic Merino yarn and have needle felted on his eyes and beak. He is about 4 inches high to the top of his ear tufts. I have knitted him in the Magic Loop technique. Enjoy knitting him:) Hoot!

  6. I knit little owl over the holdiay break but got stuck with his features. I love the needle felting you did. I will have to pull him out this weekend and finish him up. Thanks for the inspiration.

Congrats on your new studio. I have been thinking of claiming a corner of our little used living room for my own. Right now I have all my craft things in the downstairs mud shower since it is winter. Perhaps by the spring I can have it all organized and free the mud shower up for good.

    Blessings,
    Tracy

  9. I'm with Wabi, but I'm adding a letter:

WOOThoot! This little guy is a charmer. That plump little bird body is VERY satisfying. I can just feel him in my hand. And he's perfect for those rich, wooly fibers of yours, in natural colors. Here's another big kiss on your cheek for another joyful pattern in my Linda collection!
