Todays Post Description:
Write about the fate of a past knitting project. Whether it be something that you crocheted or knitted for yourself or to give to another person. An item that lives with you or something which you sent off to charity.
Today I really wasn't sure what I was going to write about and then I remembered that quite a few years ago, about a year after I was married (seems like so long ago!) ... I knitted a couple of cardigans for Richard. It did take me ages to finish these two projects but I did enjoy making them. I must have knitted these cardigans about 15 years ago and he still wears them to work in the winter months. As you can see, they are slightly stretched now but I think they have held up rather well over the years.
This is my Shalom cardigan, I really enjoyed this knit! I used a soft Merino handspun and the cardigan is deliciously soft. I love to wear it as often as I can. In fact I do believe it is time to make another one very soon! It is still so comfortable and now that the days are starting to cool down, it's time to bring it out from winter clothing storage.
This is a Kye's Milo Vest, unfortunately he really doesn't like to wear it:( I am sure that this will change as soon as it cools down enough and then hopefully he will wear it over his long sleeves.

Love the photo of you in your gorgeous cardi! I was looking at doing one of those or the tea leaves cardi, they are both divine :-)
