Turtle Knitting Pattern

Thank you so much to everyone who wished Richard and I well for our anniversary yesterday. You are all so lovely and wonderful and kind! You left so many sweet words in your comments, it really has left me feeling immense gratitude in my heart...

And now I am about to show you more pattern photos...
Today I finished my turtle pattern. He was a fun knit, completely knitted in the round in the magic loop technique. I knitted him in a handspun yarn on size 4mm circular needles. He has a small turtle tail too:) I knitted the shell in such a way as to create visual texture... and that's it... so without further ado, here he is...
His pattern is avaliable in my shop.

  3. How cute!!! Each pattern is cuter than the one before. In the pattern do you explain the magic loop technique? Thanks for sharing yet another wonderful critter from your menagerie.

  4. Thanks so much K and Julze:)

Thanks Valarie, I don't explain the magic loop in my patterns. There are so many wonderful tutorials out there on the internet, but I think I will put together a tutorial soon on my blog:)

  5. He is really cute. Liz loves turtles and is designing her knighting ceremony shield to include a turtle. I might try to knit one as a gift for the big event.
