Pin Oak Leaf Knitting Pattern

Thanks for the lovely comments you left here on my blog, emails you sent and messages on Ravlery about yesterdays little knitted leaves, you are all so kind, I hope you enjoy knitting them:) Well as you can see I am slightly obsessed with knitting leaves at the moment, today's one is an oak leaf, a Pin Oak Leaf to be exact. We have a Pin Oak in our backyard and I love its slender leaves, they are so delicate and pretty to look at. In autumn it is the first tree in our garden to show its brown and amber leaves with tiny flecks of green here and there... I must knit some leaves in orange and brown in this pattern, seeing as it is winter here, after all, in the southern hemisphere...and all the leaves have fallen and the trees are bare...
