So for today's post, this is what we are all going to post about:
Part of any fibre enthusiast’s hobby is an appreciation of yarn. Choose two yarns that you have either used, are in your stash or which you yearn after and capture what it is you love or loathe about them.
Ok, the first yarn that I am going to write about is called Fyberspates Nef Sock Yarn, this is the most exceptionally soft yarn consisting of 70% baby alpaca, 20% silk, 10% cashmere. I love it! I am going to hand paint some of it and make socks for our family for winter, I imagine a hat or scarf or even gloves would just feel divine in this yarn. Amazing!!
The second yarn that I am going to mention is this Icelandic wool that I bought quite a while ago, I do like the colour but it is very scratchy on the skin so I am not sure what I will make with it, I was origionally going to knit a hat in it but I think it will be more suited to a knitted handbag instead.
