Black and White Wednesday Photo Challenge

This is one of my favourite photos from our family photo archive. A photo of Kye when he was still just 2 years, almost 3. This was the first time he ever fell asleep on his own:) He was talking and then the next minute he was off in dream land. My sweet little angel...

Knitting Archive Ramblings...

Thanks to everyone who commented about Black and White Wednesday Photography Challenge yesterday. More and more people join in each week and your photos are amazing. I am so looking forward to next week:) I thought I would write a post today about my knitting archives from when I was young. I used to knit jerseys and cardigans. I haven't done this for quite some time, and I do believe it is time to start again. This jersey I am wearing here was knitted by me almost 20 years ago! Wow, the years have flown by. When I knitted this I was 18 years old, still living at home, and had all the time in the world to do whatever inspired me:) My mom used to knit all the time and I really enjoyed knitting along with her. I found this jersey in my cupboard this morning and I thought I would wear it today. It is so warm and I am sure has Mohair in it. I really wish I could find the pattern, I do remember it was a Sirdar pattern though. I am very happy it still fits me and is so soft after all this time.

Time has gone by so fast since I knitted this jersey. Here is Kye, he was quite sure he wanted to be in this photo. Since I have knitted this, I have married my wonderful husband, had 4 beautiful children, home birthed, breastfed them all and gone on many wonderful journeys and learned so much. I also love this space here, on my blog, where I record our life and I can speak my mind and know there are amazing mamas that stop by here and leave their wisdom, thoughts and support. Thanks Sistahs...
