Autumn Equinox Road Trip

Yesterday we went on a day road trip to Haartbeespoort to visit Bush Babies Monkey Sanctuary, what a wonderful experience!
Happy Autumn Equinox to all those in the Southern Hemisphere and happy Spring Equinox to all in the North:)

  7. Love road trips - thanks for sharing :-)

My sister used to have a Spider Monkey when she was a teenager: the monkey on the fellas head reminded me of "Peanuts"; LOL

  8. Looks like you guys had a ball. I'm never entirely sure if I like monkeys or not. I love gorillas but monkeys freak me out just a tiny bit! LOL!

  9. This looks amazing!
What a beautifull place on the eart you live on!
At the same time I am thinking that it must be strange to celebrate easter in autumn... making eggs and young animals when actually everything is going into the phase of sleep and hibernation.

  10. It's amazing how close you were to the monkeys. I've never been that close to a monkey. The area is just so beautiful. Thanks for sharing it with us.

  11. There is nothing small about Africa. The water - breathtaking. Our mountains are beautiful, but yours are different, the trees - different. And we have no monkeys. We take rides into the desert or up the mountain and we see what we see - lovely, but no exotic. You show me exotic.
