Knitted Snail Pattern Tutorial

Hello everyone,
Today has been a lovely day, warm with beautiful sunshine, we have just come home from a family bike ride around the lake down the road... Erin will be finishing up her Ancient India block and she will start Ancient Persia on Monday. Jenna is still busy with the architecture of castles with in Middle Ages and Caiden is finishing his Weather block tomorrow...

And now for the knitted snail tutorial, and if you would like to know how to knit an I-cord, you can refer to it here.

  2. Don't laugh, but when I couldn't sleep last night, I came down and fired up the computer. Your snail promise had really caught my imagination and I was totally excited to see this. I don't get excited much lately - too waiting for the other boot to drop. So this gave my brain a work out in joy I haven't had for a while. Like waiting for a Christmas present. And all he is is a little snail -

  3. That is SO cute, Linda! My daughter has 2 different sizes of knitting mushrooms so we're always looking for ideas for i-cords. This will be so much fun. :)

  5. This is sooo sweet! We nevr saw snails in VA but now that we are living in OR we see them everywhere and my girls are obsessed. I think we need some of these in eggs from the Root Children next weekend :)

    when i was pg i made a quilt for by bébé. in one corner i embroidered a snail. not sure why i find them so cute. i definitely don't like them in my gardens.
