Knitted Leaf Patterns...

Today I have been thinking about leaves... how beautiful they are, how they dress trees, sway in the wind and their many differing shapes... so I started knitting and this is what my thoughts developed into... two little leaves, they are both different even though they seem to share the same characteristics of shape. They would look lovely adorning a summer garland or even a crown, the possibilities are endless...

  7. You know what I'm thinking, don't you? I mean, it's WINTER. There are no leaves on trees. I feel some mischief of the yarnbombery kind coming on...

  10. Charming. Useful. Truthful little leaves. Thank you for the pattern and the idea and the pictures. You have a gift, of course. I wish I were as good at any one thing as you are at this knit-design. Whimsical. Amazing. And I love the pin oak, too. So headed up to look at it again.

  13. Those leaves are beautiful. I can't help but think they would be great attached to plain knitted hat as an accent. I always love your knits. As soon as I finish these socks (that are taking forever) I want to start your Alpaca.
