Our New Family Member... Sandy...

What an exciting morning we have had! It has been Caiden's greatest wish to have a pet of his very own and Richard and I decided that now after his 9th birthday, he was ready:) He has been very keen on a Labrador puppy, we all love this particular breed of dog because of their gentle and kind nature. We have been searching for a few days now and this morning we found this sweet, beautiful girl... she has been named Sandy and we are so thrilled to have her join our family :)
And now for some photos...

Happy weekending...

  1. CUUUTE!!! I would love to get a puppy for our family, one of the downfalls of renting a house.

  2. Oh! my goodness how sweet is she. What an adorable dog, those puppy eyes and I am sure she will grow into her paws. I have cats, and although I love them they are their own boss and just go about thier own business, BUT dogs are just a friend forever and always pleased to see you. I wish your family all the joy of living with a dog.
    Happy weekend

  5. What sensitive little eyes! I'm not even a dog lover and I think she's gorgeous...make sure you move everything above tail wagging level though...I used to dog sit two labs and they have the most amazingly destructive tails lol

  6. My mother had a labrador named Annie. It was everything a dog should be! Calm and tolerant with young children, obedient and patient, interested in everything the family was doing, cheerful, sweet, and loved to play fetch! Have fun! Beth

  9. Sweet puppy face, labs are adorable. I like the little blanket and I see She already has a hand maid toy. Enjoy her loving doggieness in your home...though it looks like Dad already is.

  10. Dogs are so wonderful and enrich your family! We have four of them, which may have been going a bit overboard, but what is a crazy woman to do??

  16. Oh how gorgeous Linda!! We are definitely going to get one of these for our next dog. Billy is a lab x ridge back and has a wonderful personality, but next time we want to go for a pure bred. Enjoy!!

  17. Ok....I'm in love. Look at that face. Can you find anything sweeter. Congratulations on your little Sandy. I had two labs growing up and so many found memories. They are the most wonderful pets. Here's wishing your family many happy days.

  22. I was taking a second look - that cunning shot of her in the dog bed with her back to us? Okay, maybe I haven't been awake long enough, but she looks a little like a kangaroo in the middle of a full jump - don't ask me why, please. But I really, really wanted to pat her ears after seeing that shot. Which has nothing to do with kangaroos at all. Maybe I better wake up some more before I write anything else.
